HexoSystem: cardboard hex tiles for physical games
A downloadable hex crawling system
HexoSystem tiles are a series of templates that allow you to craft cardboard hex tiles for your physical games.
By the nature of crafting one hex tile at a time instead of printing the entire hex crawling sheet in one sheet of paper, you can make other elements of your Board game or Table Top game much larger,
Included in the download are PNG and SVG versions of the templates that you are free to edit, modify, or alter without attribution, and use in your own print-and-play games!

After printing out any template: cut out the templates and apply a small circle of paper tape to the bottom of them.
Next grab your cardboard and attach the templates to the sheets of cardboard, i recommend using cardboard that is 5mm thick and only has 1 corrugated layer. (anything thicker or more layered than that is way too hard to cut precisely.)
Now, with a marker of some kind, trace the templates onto the cardboard, repeating this process for both the A and B templates, By using tape at the bottom instead of glue, you make the templates reusable, so you can repeat the process as many times as needed.
Once you’ve finished this, there’s the most laborious and time consuming process of cutting out all of the pieces, I recommend using stainless steel crafting scissors, as other methods are less precise, and with the stainless steel scissors: you can cut slowly and carefully, cutting off one of the pegs isn’t a problem but it is a minor setback. (You can always glue a scrap piece of cardboard over where you accidentally cut the peg.)
Now it’s time to glue A to the bottom of B; make sure that you don’t accidentally glue A in the opposite orientation, rendering the pegs and notches on the bottom incompatible with any other tile: to avoid this from happening you can keep one already completed tile with you for reference as you glue the rest of them.
